Richmond Hill's Hayden Price rallied to card an impressive score of 4-over par 76 in extremely difficult conditions to earn a victory in the Girls 12-19 age group at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's SJGT King & Prince played March 1-2 at the King & Prince Golf Club on St. Simon's Island, Ga.
After a disappointing first round score of 14-over par 86, Price improved by 10 strokes during the second round in cold, blustery conditions that saw winds gust as high as 25 mph. She made only four bogeys in round, and her score was the lowest of the second round by seven strokes.
In the Boys 16-19 age group, Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley finished runner up after scores of 75-75 to finish 6-over par, and Savannah's Hamp Threlkeld, a junior at Benedictine Military School, was T3 after rounds of 76-75 to end on 7-over par. Savannah's Chad Chadwell, a Benedictine junior, and Savannah's Jack Weeks, a Benedictine sophomore, both finished T10.
