Savannah-area high school baseball all-region teams: The top players from 2023 season

The baseball bats and balls have been put away for almost two weeks, but as usual, coaches voted on the all-region teams after the high school regular baseball season. Each region's voting format is based on the region's by-laws so that the regions will vary. 

The Prep Sports Report has compiled all-region teams from the Savannah area that play in the Georgia High School Association, Georgia Independent Athletic Association, and the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools.

Georgia High School Association

Region 1-7A

Region Freshman of the Year: Grant Wagner, Richmond Hill

 

First Team

Pitchers: Garrett Wright, Richmond Hill; Blaine Newman, Richmond Hill

Catchers:  Gavin Martin, Richmond Hill 

Infielders: Ty Goldrick, Richmond Hill

Outfielders:  Blaine Newman, Richmond Hill

 

Second Team

Pitchers:  Bryce Hendricks, Richmond Hill
