Ethan Thurmon is this week’s Savannah Christian Preparatory School Raider Raider Athlete of the Week! Ethan won his state playoff match last week in 2 sets by a score of 6-1 and 6-2. Ethan has been playing tennis for eight years and says his favorite memory is getting everybody hyped up for gameday before every match this season. Ethan says his goal for this season was to go undefeated playing the number one singles spot and says his favorite thing about being a Raider is being part of a fun and supportive team and making new friends through the process.
When asked what it means to be named Athlete of the Week, Ethan said, “To be named SCPS Athlete of the Week means a lot.
