Savannah Christian's Lynes second at Carrollton XCountry meet

Savannah Christian junior Kendall Lynes finished second in the Varsity Girls 1A, 2A, 3A & 4A division in the Carrollton Orthopedic Invitational run in Carrolton this week, and the Savannah Christian girls finished third overall out of 15 teams entered in the division.  

Lynes ran a time of 21:18.37 to finish only 17 seconds behind Flowery Branch's Bella Brick. Overall, Savannah Christian's girls placed three runners in the top 30 out of 115 runners - Kate Britt was 15th, Megan Bost was 23rd and Lily Beth Redick was 28th. 

Savannah Christian sophomore JT Gard finished ninth out of 158 runners in the Boys division with a time of 18:36.71. Overall, the Red Raiders' boys finished 14th out of 23 teams in the meet.
