Savannah's Braden Schnaible carded a score of 2 under par 70 at Glen Arven Country Club on August 16 and is T3 after one round at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour Harris English Invitational in Thomasville, Ga.

Schnaible is only four strokes behind leader Jay Wilson from Elba, Alabama. In June, Schnaible posted scores of 65-75 to finish T2 at the SJGT Sea Palms Junior Classic played on St. Simon's Island, Ga.

Schnaible, a member of the Class of 2025, has also qualified for two American Junior Golf Association events this summer and finished T4 at the Georgia State Golf Association's Premier Player Series Southeast Georgia Junior Open at the King & Prince Golf Club on St. Simon's Island. In April, he won the Savannah City High School championship for the second straight year at Bacon Park Golf Club with a score of 2-under par 69.
