Savannah United Premier Sets New Record with Six Teams at Southern Regionals
For the first time in its history, Savannah United Soccer Club sent an unprecedented six teams to the United States Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championships in Tampa, FL. This remarkable achievement highlights the club's growing talent and dedication to youth soccer development.
The following teams competed at the championships: 2007 Girls Premier, 2008 Boys Premier, 2009 Girls Premier, 2010 Boys Premier, 2010 Girls Premier, and the 2011 Boys Premier. All the teams had outstanding performances, achieving notable accomplishments that have set new milestones for the club.
2011 Boys Premier Team
The 2011 Boys Premier team made history by becoming the first boy's team from Savannah United Premier to advance beyond the group stage. Their journey ended in the semifinals, where they narrowly lost 2-1 to the eventual champions.
