Scarano fires 69 in SJGA event at The Club at Savannah Harbor

Nicholas Scarano, a Benedictine Military School rising junior who won the Savannah Juior City Amateur championship two weeks ago, carded a 3-under par 69 to win the Savannah Junior Golf Association event played on July 12 at The Club at Savannah Harbor.

It was the second time Scarano has broken par during the 2021 summer series. He also posted a score of 2-under 70 in the first event of the series played at the Marshwood course at The Landings Club in June, and his stroke average in five SJGA rounds this summer is 74.2.

Other age group winners at Savannah Harbor included Kyle Price in Boys 10-12, Matthew Reynolds in Boys 13-14, Cohen Heidt in Boys 15-18 and Hayden Price in the Girls' division.
