SAVANNAH, GA. - Girls' flag football players in the Savannah area now have a chance to keep playing and continue working on their skills, getting ready for the next level during the offseason.
FCA Southern Heat gears up for the 2026 season, providing middle and high school athletes a place to train, compete, and grow in a competitive setting.
FCA Southern Heat is now in its second year and has earned a reputation across Savannah, Effingham, and the surrounding areas. The high school teams have won tournaments and earned national rankings in 2024 and 20.
The program welcomes players and athletes new to flag football and supports player development through practices, local games, and travel tournaments across Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas.
The program helps athletes sharpen their skills, preparing them for high school seasons and future college opportunities.
Tryouts will be held THIS SUNDAY, January 25, from three p.m. to five p.m. at Memorial Stadium. Athletes must register in advance to participate—don't miss your chance!
FCA Southern Heat looks forward to seeing you at the tryouts.
FCA Southern Heat offers teams at various levels, including a U14 team for middle school players and a U18 team for high school players. The organization provides programs in the Savannah area and in Effingham County, running the season from January through early June.
Please note that registration for all programs will close on February 28, 2026, so make sure you sign up before then.
