St. Vincent's Academy senior Laine Richardson has been playing golf as long as she can remember.

Richardson's father, Patrick Richardson, is the Head Golf Professional at Sea Island Golf Club and was the Head Golf Professional at the Wilmington Island Club before that. He has been Laine's coach and his biggest fan for her whole life.

As a sophmore, Laine was a part of the St. Vincent's golf team that won a state championship. She played alongside her sister, Rin Richardson,  and Emma Saunders and Tricia Reisman.

Her coaches at St. Vincent's, Karye Moreau and Joey Sims, encourage her and the rest of the team to work toward their goals one putt at a time. Laine will attend Samford University and plans to become an athletic trainer with a long term goal of going to physical therapy school.
