Seven Local Track & Field Athletes Get the Gold Bling - A lot more Make the Podium

The Georgia High School State Association (GHSA) state track meet finished last weekend for the boys and girls from the Savannah Area. Who got the gold and took to the winner's podium? Seven total track and field athletes got gold medals. Three individual track and field athletes took home gold medals along with one relay team (4). How did the athletes earn a spot on the winner’s podium? The top eight competitor times or distances made the podium, and here are the results.
