St. Andrew's School Girls' Volleyball Team Claws a 3-0 win against Memorial Day

Senior Lizzie Link had twelve kills and eight aces to lead St. Andrew's volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-19, 25-8 win over Memorial Day School Tuesday, August 23, 2002, in a non-league match.

 

Two more seniors for St. Andrew's were pivotal in the win. Anna Spitalnick had eleven assists for the Lions, and Reese Young had five kills. First head coach Bobbi Mock said about the seniors, "These girls are great and need to be recognized. We go to Valwood today for a huge match."

 

The Lions are 5-2 overall and 1-0 in region play and travel to Valdosta, Georgia, today to take on region rival Valwood School (6-2/1-0) at 8 pm.
