St. Vincent's Academy Volleyball Spikes Two Wins, Coach Nichols St. Louis Nears 100th Win Milestone

St. Vincent's Academy had an incredible night on the volleyball court, securing two impressive wins that left fans cheering!


In their first match against Islands High School, SVA opened up with a convincing victory of 25-15 in the first set and 25-13 in the second. Briana Tuten led SVA with seven kills and six digs. Meanwhile, Addison Grayson had seven digs, and Mary Sophia Fischer had 15 assists.

The momentum carried into the second match against Savannah Arts Academy, where the Saints continued their winning ways. They won the first set in a thrilling match, winning the first set 28-26 and the second set 25-17. Sophie Chu had nine digs, and Megan Warren 3 blocks. Briana Tuten had six more kills on the night, and Anna Creel served up five aces with the Saints trailing 24-17 in the first game. Senior Mary Sophia Fischer had 20 assists and two blocks.

The Saints go against Glynn Academy at 5 p.m. and Hilton Head Christian Academy at 7 p.m. today at home. 

It's worth noting that Saints' head coach, Nichols St. Louis, is on the brink of a significant milestone, just one win away from reaching the impressive 100-win mark in her 5th volleyball season with SVA. Exciting times ahead for the Saints!
