It's soccer sweet sixteen, tennis elite eight, and the first-round play of lacrosse playoffs for Savannah area schools in the Georgia High School State Association championships this week.  Undefeated St. Vincent's (12-0-1) a fixture in the state playoffs and who has moved on to play in the championship game the last four seasons kicked off the playoff week by hosting Stratford Academy. On the line was a trip to the elite eight in GHSA Single "A" Private Schools 2021 girl's soccer playoffs.

After a scoreless first half, the Saints broke through as senior Emma Beddow scored her first of two goals to give the Saints a 1-0 lead St. Vincent's would not relinquish. The Saints Hayden Aliotta would score shortly after for a 2-0 score. Stratford Academy would score to cut the Saints lead to 2-1 on a penalty kick, but Beddow would score again for the Saints final tally and a 3-1 St. Vincent's victory. Saint's goalie Alanna Beddow had seven saves in goal. Assists on the three goals scored by the Saints went to three players Isabella Hogan, Hayden Aliotta, and Amber Beddow.
