The Elite Eight in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) playoffs is here and starts today with the girls.

Only three Savannah-area teams remain with a chance to reach the Final Four. The path is simple: now win and move on. Below is the schedule with tipoff times.

GIRLS – Tuesday, March 3

CLASS 5A

River Ridge (22-7) at  Bradwell Institute (28-0), 6 p.m.

Bradwell earned the right to host. Now the Lady Tigers must take care of business.

Bradwell is 28-0 and faces the defending Class 5A state champion. River Ridge has experience. Bradwell has not lost all season.

The focus for the Lady Tigers is clear: A win sends them to the Final Four.

CLASS 3A

#6 Pickens (21-9) at #3 Jenkins (25-4), 5:30 p.m.

Jenkins is 25-4 and playing at home with a Final Four spot on the line.

The Warriors host Pickens in what is the seniors' final home game. Jenkins will need to control the pace, defend, and execute.

A win keeps the season going.

BOYS – Wednesday, March 4

CLASS 3A-1A PRIVATE

#8 Calvary Day (23-7) at #1 Darlington (27-2), 7 p.m.

Calvary Day is 23-7 and heading to Rome for a road test against the top seed.

Darlington enters at 27-2 and will be tough at home. The Cavaliers must handle pressure, limit mistakes, and play a complete game.

One win puts them in the Final Four.

Three teams remain. By midweek, we’ll know how many are still playing.
