Both Veritas Academy and the Habersham School's golf teams qualified for the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools (GAPPS) Division II state golf tournament on April 24 at Forsyth Golf Club in Forsyth, Georgia.
Veritas Academy's Madi Saxton finished second overall in the qualifer after posting a score of Even par 72, and The Habersham School's Tyler Tift and Bear Dollander finsihed T6 after carding 5-over par 77.
Veritas finished third overall with a total score of 395, while Habersham finished second overall with a total team score of 324.
The state tournament will be played on May 8 on the Bull Creek Golf Course East Course in Columbus, Georgia.
