Savannah's Hood runner up at David A. Wall tournament

Savannah's Rivers Hood, a 4th grader at St. James Catholic School, posted rounds of 73-69 to finish 2-under par and runner up in the Boys 11-Under age group at the David A. Wall Junior Golf Invitational played May 3-4 at Lakeview Golf Club in Blackshear, Ga.

Hood trailed eventual winner Hunter Williams from St. Augustine, Fla., by two strokes after the first round but posted a second-round score of 3-under par to naerly catch Williams.

In Boys 14-15, Savannah's Alex Dao finsihed T3 after scores of 78-74. And in Boys 12-13, Alex's brother, Zach Dao, finished in third place alone after scores of 81-76.
