Pooler's Christoper Butler, a junior at Benedictine Military School, posted a score of 11-over 83 at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., to finish T3 at a US Kids Golf Jacksonville Local Tour tournament played on June 23.
Butler was the season points champion for the US Kids Golf Savannah Local Tour in the spring with four first place finishes between February and June. In Ponte Vedra, he made a birdie on his final hole to tie Noa Bridges from St. Augustine, Fla., in third place.
