Where are they Now? HV Jenkins Alum Ty Scott season one in the UFL Books

Tyrone Scott, a former standout athlete at HV Jenkins, class of 2018, played wide receiver for the Washington D.C. Defenders of the United Football League (UFL) this season. In 10 games, Ty caught 25 passes for 418 yards and three touchdowns. The Defenders finished third in the XFL division of the UFL and missed the playoffs.

ICYMI this UFL Highlight - Ty Scott takes off for a 70-yard Defenders TD - Jordan Ta'amu fires a pass to Ty Scott, who breaks a tackle and scores a 70-yard touchdown.

College career - Ty played college football for Central Michigan and Missouri State. The Kansas City Chiefs signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

High School career - During his three seasons with the Warriors, Scott totaled 106 catches for  2,165 receiving yards with 22 touchdowns. In his senior season, he had 58 catches for 1,131 yards and 12 touchdowns, helping the Warriors win the Region 3-3A title and reach the state quarterfinals.
