Richmond Hill's Kivett goes low to win age group at US Kids Golf Savannah Tour event

The US Kids Golf Savannah Local Tour visited the Country Club of Hilton Head on May 31, and Richmond Hill's Lou Kivett made himself right at home to win the Boys 10 age group with a phenomenal score fo 2-under 34. 

Kivett has now won three of the five Spring Season events in the Boys 10 age group and has carded under-par scores in two of those victories. In the Boys 9 age group, Daniel Morrell from Bluffton, SC went one stroke lower than Kivett with a 3-under par 33. 

Other highlights from Country Club of Hilton Head included Paul Morrell from Bluffton, SC edging Jonathan Budnick from Pooler, GA by one stroke in the Boys 13 age group. Morrell posted a score of 4-over 76 and Budnick was only stroke back at 5-over 77 despite a triple bogey on the par-4 16th hole.

Boys 6-Under: Baylor Mikkelson (Bluffton, SC) 42 +6

Boys 7: Gaines Guess (Hardeeville, SC) 38 +2

Boys 8: Joshua Taylor (Hilton Head Island, SC) 42 +6

Boys 9: Daniel Morrell (Bluffton, SC) 33 -3

Boys 10: Lou Kivett (Richmond Hill, GA) 34 -2

Boys 11: Kevin Tylus (Hilton Head Island, SC) 92 +20

Boys 12: Cliff Cromwell (Savannah, GA) 85 +13

Boys 13-14: Paul Morrell (Bluffton, SC) 76 +4

Boys 15-18: River Kight (Dublin, GA) 79 +7

Girls 8-under: Olivia Ramsden (Bluffton, SC) 53 +17

Girls 11-12: Calli Kooi (Hilton Head Island, SC) 81 +9

Girls 15-18: Julia Schmid (Savannah, GA) 64 +28
