The Prep Sports Report is catching up with the Savannah Quarterback Club's players of the week. At their weekly meetings, the Savannah Quarterback Club recognized outstanding high school football offensive and defensive players from weeks 5, 6, and 8. Each week, they honored an offensive and defensive player, including a special team standout and a freshman quarterback, making it a unique group of winners. There was no meeting for week 7.
Week 5
- Defensive Player of the Week:
- Reico Collins, Senior, HV Jenkins
- In Jenkins' win over Beach, the senior linebacker recorded two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.

- Offensive Player of the Week:
- Amari Cook, Junior, St. Andrew's
- Cook had a huge game in St. Andrew's win over Augusta Prep, catching three passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 72 yards and two more scores on seven carries.

Week 6
- Defensive Player of the Week:
- Third Scroggins, Senior, Benedictine
- Scroggins was a force with seven tackles, one tackle for loss (TFL), and an impressive 4.5 sacks for 31 yards in BC's win over Westminster.

- Offensive Player of the Week:
- Brian Robinson, Senior, Johnson
- Robinson had a standout performance with 320 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries in Johnson's victory over Groves.

Week 8
- Defensive Player of the Week:
- Connor Ferguson, Senior, Benedictine
- Ferguson played a key role on special teams with six kickoffs (two touchbacks) and five punts, averaging 38 yards per punt in Benedictine's win over Warner Robins.

- Offensive Player of the Week:
- JR Rowland, Freshman, Memorial Day
- The freshman quarterback totaled about 250 yards of offense, including a 75-yard touchdown pass and a 45-yard rushing touchdown, leading Memorial Day to a win over Crisp Academy. He also had an interception on defense.
