Barber and Miller qualify for 46th Girls Junior PGA Championship

Savannah Christian's Mary Miller and Savannah Country Day's Kate Barber have both earned spots in the prestigious 46th Girls Junior PGA Championship being played August 2-5 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Palos Park, Illinois.

Miller qualified at the Georgia PGA Junior Championship played June 6-8 at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga. She carded rounds of 73-76-71 to finish tied for second behind Thanana Kotchasanmanee from Rome, Ga., and earn her spot in the Girls Junior PGA Championship.

Barber qualified at the PGA North Florida Section Girls Junior Championship played June 12-13 at Falcons Fire Golf Club in Orlando. Florida. Barber posted scores of 71-70 to finish 3-under par and tied for second with Victoria Zheng, earning a spot in the Girls Junior PGA Championship.
