Registration for Savannah Junior Golf Association tournament series available through First Tee Savannah

The First Tee of Savannah has announced dates and locations for Savannah Junior Golf Association tournaments.

The tournaments are designed for competitive golfers ages 10-18. An 18-hole tournament will take place June 4 at Richmond Hill Golf on June 4, and there are 36-hole tournaments scheduled for July 15-16 at the Savannah Golf Club and July 21-22 at the Deer Creek course the Landings Club.

The Savannah Junior Golf Association has been in existence since 1990 and is proud to now host the tournament series as part of First Tee Savannah. The vision for the Savannah Junior Golf Association is to provide participants with an organized, high-quality event on a quality course that will enable them to compete at a high level and grow their game.

The long term goal is for participants to build their golf resumes and provide them with an opportunity to reach their goals of playing golf at the next level. All tournaments will be played under the USGA Rules of Golf and results will be used to highlight achievement to college coaches, other tournament sponsors and local and national media.
