Savannah 8th grader Kate Barber carded a final round score of 1-under par 71 in the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour Tournament of Champions played at Willow Point Golf & Country Club in Alexander City, Alabama, on December 5-6.

Her final round was the lowest score of any competitor in the field in the Girls 12-14 age division and earned a spot in a playoff with eventual champion Camry Coffield from Hamilton, Georgia. After a first round score of 4-over 76, Barber birdied three of her last five holes in the final round to tie Coffield's 36-hole total score of 3-over par.

Barber won the Belle Meade Junior Classic played in October at Belle Meade Country Club in Thomson, Georgia.
