BC, Richmond Hill win Gregg Wolff Invitationl in Metter

The Benedictine golf team earned its fourth victory of the season on March 30 at the Gregg Wolff Invitational played at Willow Lake Golf Club in Metter, Georgia.

Led by a 3-over par 74 from freshman Jack Weeks and a 5-over par 76 from sophomore Hamp Threlkeld, the Cadets narrowly edged The Habersham School by six strokes. Savannah's Braden Schnaible, playing for the Habersham School, captured the individual medalist honors with a score of 1-over 72, while Weeks finished T4 and Threlkeld was sixth.

In the girls tournament, Richmond Hill cruised to victory behind individual medalist Alexa Mohler and teammate Amanda Puchales. Mohler edged Puchales by three strokes to earn low medalist honors.
