BC, Savannah Arts win Frazier-Hite Invitational cross country meet

Benedictine Military School and Savannah's Arts Academy claimed first place at the Frazier-Hite Invitational cross country meet run August 29 at 7 Mile Farm in Statesboro, Ga.

The Cadets won the boys' race and were led by senior John Dodson, who finished first overall by nearly 15 seconds with a time of 15:25.6. Other Cadets in the top 10 included sophomore Cole Minnich in third and junior Asher Herrin in fifth and sophomore Nike Hanks in eighth.

in the girls race, Savannah Arts Academy senior Leah Nyce finished first by nearly two minutes with a time of 20:21.1. Savannah Arts Academy also placed senior Ella Harward-Grant in fifth, sophomore Frances Tedder in sixth and freshman Laura Bennett in eighth.
