The Benedictine golf team eked out its third tournament victory of the season at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Richmond Hill High School at Richmond Hill Golf Club on March 26, and the Savannah Christian Preparatory School girls' team earned a victory as well.

The Cadets won by one stroke over Richmond Hill High School, led by sophmore Hamp Threlkeld's round of even-par 71. Threlkeld tied for low medalist with Richmond Hill's Patrick Mahaffey.

Other scores that counted for BC were senior Clayton Ruchalski with a 2-over 73, freshman Jack Weeks with a 5 over 76 and junior Colby Brennan with a 6-over 77.

In the girls' tournament, Savannah Christian won the team event, propelled by Mary Miller's 1-under par 70 that was the lowest score recorded by any golfer on a blustery day.
