Savannah, GA, September 8, 2023 — In the second half at Daffin Park, the Bethesda Academy Blazers offense opened up and blazed a resounding victory over the Carolina Academy, shutting them out with a final score of 34-0 at Daffin Park on Friday evening. The Blazers remain undefeated with a record of 4-0.

The game's opening quarter was characterized by defense play from both teams, with neither team able to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

The second quarter was the turning point in the game, with the Blazers Jordan Cheever providing the first points of the evening. Cheever scored on a recovered blocked punt by Kam Lanigan's. However, the 2-point conversion attempt failed, leaving the score at 6-0 in favor of Bethesda Academy at halftime.

The Blazers' offensive came to life in the third quarter, with Noah Jenkins leading the charge. Jenkins broke free for a 48-yard touchdown run. Although the 2-point conversion failed again, the momentum was firmly in Bethesda Academy's favor. Shortly after that, Triston Randall scored on a 4-yard run to the lead. The 2-point conversion, this time, was a successful pass to Thomas Peters, and the Blazers now took a 20-0 lead over Carolina Academy entering the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Noah Jenkins continued his exceptional performance. Jones notched two more touchdowns, with runs of 67 and 28 yards. Unfortunately for the Blazers, both 2-point conversion attempts fell short—final score: Bethesda 34, Carolina Academy.
