Savannah's Alex Dao and Zach Dao both finished runner up in their age group at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour's Coastal Carolina Summer Junior Open played June 28-29 at Palmetto Dunes Golf Club on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Alex Dao, a sophomore at Benedictine Military School, posted scores of 80-79 to finish three strokes behind champion Brayden Frickel from Bluffton, S.C. in the Boys 14-15 age group. Zach Dao, an 8th grader at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School, carded scores of 75-77 to finish three strokes behind champion Meyer Silverman from Los Angeles, California, in the Boys 12-13 age group.
