Butler wins GSGA Junior Tour event at Savannah Harbor

Savannah's James Butler, an 8th grader at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, carded a socre of 4-over 40 for nine hole to win the Boys 13-Over age group at a Georgia State Golf Association Junior Tour one-day tournament played September 21 at the Club at Savannah Harbor. 

Butler's older brother, Benedictine Military School junior Christopher Butler, finished third in the Boys 15-18 age group with a score of 3-over par 75. In the Boys 15-18 age group, Swainsboro's Cooper Riner won with a score of Even par 72 while Savannah's Morris Lane, a senior at St. Andrew's School was second with a 1-over par 73. 

In the Girls 15-18 age group, Savannah Art Academy's sophomore Maya Lilja-Vazquez won with a score of 4-over par 76. And Savannah's Savannah Lane won the Girls 14-Under age group with a score of 6-over 78.
