Bethesda’s Jordan Cheever and Benedictine’s Larson Little were honored as the Savannah Quarterback Club’s Week 3 Players of the Week during the club’s second huddle of the 2025 season on September 22 at the American Legion on Bull Street.

The evening also had its usual guest speaker, Stephen Garcia, a former University of South Carolina quarterback. Garcia spoke to the room about his football journey and shared remarks on this year’s USC team, as well as where the Gamecocks are moving forward this season.

Week 3 Honorees

Offense – Jordan Cheever, Bethesda
Running back Jordan Cheever led Bethesda's group of running backs to a 53-28 victory over Hilton Head Christian. Cheever ran for 234 yards and scored two touchdowns on 25 carries, and added another on a 65-yard touchdown reception.

Defense – Larson Little, Benedictine
Benedictine Linebacker  Larson Little was a big part of the Cadets’ defense in a 41-0 shutout over Burke County. Little had eight tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup. Benedictine’s defense held Burke County to just 114 yards of total offense — 66 rushing and 48 passing.

The Savannah Quarterback Club, which began in 1946, is the oldest quarterback club in Georgia and one of the longest-running in the country. The club meets every Monday during the season, honoring offensive and defensive standouts from Savannah-Chatham schools while also featuring guest speakers with football knowledge and experience.
