St. Andrew’s sophomore Khloe Jesswein has been named this week’s Coach’s Corner Volleyball Player of the Week after powering the Lions to a region championship.
Jesswein, who plays both outside hitter and middle hitter, returned to the court after five weeks on the sideline and made an immediate impact. She had 41 kills during the region tournament, helping St. Andrew’s win the region title.
Head coach Bobbi Mock praised Jesswein for her determination and leadership. “Five weeks on the sideline left Khloe hungry to get back on the court. When she finally returned, it was clear she wasn’t just playing—she was on a mission. Her goal was a region championship, and nothing was going to stop her. Khloe led in every way possible. She was the voice her teammates could count on, lifting them up in the huddle and from the bench. And when it was time to compete, she reminded everyone why she’s such a force—bringing energy, fire, and big swings that changed the game. Her toughness, leadership, and passion speak volumes. Khloe is more than a powerful player—she’s the heartbeat of this team. And we’re proud she wears Lions Blue.”
Jesswein’s performance not only helped win a championship but also showed her resilience, leadership, and importance to the St. Andrew’s program moving forward.
