Beretta, a worldwide known shotgun company, has announced that a competitive sporting clay sport athlete from Richmond Hill, Georgia, Connor Daniel, has been selected to join Team Beretta USA. The announcement comes before the 2023 World English Sporting Clays Championship held at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground in High Wycombe, England, from July 3-8, 2023.
Connor, 15, a rising junior at Savannah Christian, has only been shooting sporting clay for three years, according to the article on theoutdoorwire.com. He started shooting at age 12 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Daniel and the Raiders came in second in the 2023 Georgia Independent Athletic Association Clay Target finals.
Outside of GIAA Clay Sports, last year, at the end of October, Connor went to the 2022 National Sport Clay Association Championships in San Antonio, 
Texas, to participate in the sub-junior division. He won the NSCA sub-junior High Overall Award title last year and the 2022 World English Sub Junior Championship. In 2023 so far, Daniel has won three HOA awards and other championships.
Connor is a two-time NSCA All-American Sub Junior Team Captain and an NSCA Championship Tour Sub Junior 1st-place winner. Daniel was chosen for the 2023 USA Sporting Clays Junior FITASC and Sporting Teams because he had a great season last year. This means after the England competition. He will attend the 2023 World Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse (FITASC) Sporting Championship Finale Beretta World Cup in Csákvár-Gánt, Hungary, from July 13-16, 2023.

Team Beretta represents the Beretta Shotgun Company and has existed since the early 1980s. It comprises professional shooters of different ages and experience levels who participate as Brand Ambassadors for Beretta USA in the trap, skeet, sporting clay, pistol, and 3-gun shooting.
