Calvary Day School 7th grader Hal Dollander, 13, carded scores of 80-76 at Houston Lake Country Club in Perry, Ga., to win the Boys 11-13 age group at the Middle Georgia Junior Classic on the PGA Georgia Section Junior Tour.
Dollander made pars on his final three holes of the 36-hole tournament to preserve a one-stroke victory over William Long from Alpharetta, Ga. Long led Dollander by three strokes after the first round, but Dollander grabbed the lead for good with a birdie on the par-5 12th hole.
