Dollander finishes runner up on Southeastern Junior Golf Tour

Savannah's Bear Dollander, a freshman at Benedictine Military School, posted a second round score of 3-under 69 to finish runner up in the Boys 14-15 age group at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Blake Hadden Memorial Junior played August 12-13 at Mount Vintage Golf Club in North Augusta, S.C.

Dollander, who is in contention for the SJGT Boys 14-15 Player of the Year, carded an impressive nine birdies during his second round, including five consecutive birdies on hole Nos. 4-8. in nine SJGT events in 2023, Dollander has three victories and seven Top 5 finishes.

In the Boys 16-19 age group, Savannah's Colin Halligan, a junior at BC, finished ninth after scores of 71-86. The Boys 14-15 and Boys 16-19 play from the same tee boxes, and Dollander, 15, was T5 overall in the 60-player field.
