Five Savannah Christian Preparatory School (SCPS) student-athletes captured two individual state and one team championships during the spring season of the 2021-22 school year. The five athletes from Savannah Christian Preparatory School (SCPS) competed in two different sports – golf and track – and ranged from freshman to senior.

All five were recognized at SCPS this past week and received their state championship rings. Here's another look at the Raider five state champions.

Freshman Rylan Hurd and sophomores Ava Cottis and Mary Miller took the team championship for the Georgia High School Association Class A girls' golf tournament. At the same time, senior Maggie Byrd won the GHSA Class A girl's high jump state title which is back to back, and junior Jamari McIvory took the GHSA Class A boy's champion in the 400 meter.
