GAMEDAY: January 20, 2023 Savannah area basketball schedule

There are some big region matchups tonight on the hardwood. In boy's Georgia High School Association (GHSA) action, Savannah High visits Woodville Tompkins, Beach goes crosstown to Calvary, Benedictine via 

I-16 goes to New Hampstead, and South Effingham goes north to Springfield to take on cross-county rival Effingham. 

 

In Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) AAAA/AAA District 2 play, Pinewood Christian visits St. Andrew's in a battle of undefeated teams and as well for Robert Toombs Christian Academy at Memorial Day School.

 

In GHSA girl's hoops, second-place Savannah Country Day hosts third-place Liberty County and Burke County is at Islands in another second-place key matchup.
