High School Basketball First Round Playoff Results From Tuesday, 2/21/23 & Schedule for 2/22/23

The Savannah Area GHSA, and GIAA, basketball playoffs got underway Tuesday as teams across the state and area began playing their state first-round matchups. SCISA teams took part in second-round games.

 

Ten of the 22 playoff squads from the Savannah area were in action on the night, and three will be moving on. They were the Brayn County Calvary Day School girls, Woodville-Tompkins girls, and boys. 

 

In contrast, the following girl's and boy's teams saw their season come to a close, Bryan County High School, Islands High School, Memorial Day School, Savannah High School, and South Effingham High School on the girl's side as New Hampstead and Bethesda Academy boys teams.

 

Below are yesterday's final scores and today's playoff schedule.
