With the 2024 season winding down for the Savannah area high school football season, teams are trying to get a playoff spot and secure a region championship. Week 11 matchups bring some big games as teams try to solidify a top-four spot in the standings to make the state playoffs. There is no region champion, as the standing indicates right now. That's why we play the game on the field. Also, the new playoff format comes into effect for the Georgia High School Association (GHSA).

The GHSA will implement a new playoff format this season. All private schools in Classes 1A-3A will be separated from public schools and placed in their respective playoff brackets. Seeding for the state championships will be based on a power-point system. Classes 4A-6A will remain the same based on the regular season standings.

As the clock ticks down to zero, every game matters more than ever for teams hoping to make a postseason run in their respective associations. Below are the region standings posted on MaxPreps and this week's schedule.
