How to Get Your Flag Football Star Recognized: Calvary Day's Walsh Shows the Way!

Abby Walsh, a senior quarterback at Calvary Day School, is the Prep Sports Report Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week. Walsh completed 30 of 42 passes for a completion rate of 71% for 351 yards, which included 11 touchdowns. Walsh threw ten touchdown passes and rushed for one in victories over Camden County, Brunswick, and Litonia. The games were part of a three-game winning streak for the Cavaliers (6-2/1-0). Head Coach Nick Grassi had this to say about Abby's start to the season.

 

 

"She's picked up right where she left off from last season," said Grassi. "She has lots of experience and will be a big part of our success this year.

Note: In July, Abby committed to play soccer at Kennesaw State University after graduation.

How are players nominated for the Grassi Roofing Prep Sports Report Flag Football Player of the Week? Tell your coach to select a player from your team by the Monday following the week of play. Then, the player's coach should fill out the form below and send the nominee (s) for the Grassi Roofing Prep Sports Report Flag Football Player of the Week to the Prep Sports Report. Then, the Prep Sports Report selects the player to be posted on the Prep Sports Report website and social media sources.
