For Gracin, the decision to attend St. Andrews wasn’t just about softball—it was about finding the right fit for her future.
“The people there are amazing, and it just felt like home,” she said. “The school has great facilities, and it’s close to home. It really supports what I want to do long term with my career.”
A two-sport player in both softball and flag football for the past two years, Wilson-Bote also played basketball during her high school career. At Jenkins, she learned the value of being a true student-athlete.

“They’ve taught me how to be a student on and off the field,” she said. “Through wins and losses, I’ve learned how to work hard and keep going.”
Wilson-Bote wants to contribute to the softball program as a first baseman and pitcher at St. Andrews as she did at Jenkins. She also plans to continue her strong academic record by pursuing honors-level success as a college student.
“I want to be an honor student throughout college, just like I was in high school,” she said. “And I’ll give everything I have on the field.”
Reflecting on her time at Jenkins, she said, “I’ve made so many great memories—on the field, in the classroom, and with my friends. I’m ready for this next chapter.”
