The Memorial Day School Matadors are ready to open their 2020 Varsity Football season next Friday, September 11, 2020.
The Matadors will travel to Griffin, Georgia to take on the defending GAPPS State Champions Griffin High in a 7:30 kickoff at the Crusaders field.
First year Head Coach and Athletic Director Tyler Helmly has been working with his team since July and he says, “The time is now to see what they have.” The Matadors have several talented players returning.
Helmly is looking for seniors Dania Brewer, Cameron Hall and Jamaree Green to lead the way. The Materdors will have a new signal caller in sophomore quarterback Sean Stoddard.
