Oliver finishes T3 at Georgia PGA Junior Tour event

Savannah Christian sophomore Elliott Oliver posted scores of 76-72 on the Sea Island Retreat Course August 26-27 to finish T3 in the Boys 14-15 age group of the Georgia PGA Section Junior Tour's Sea Island Junior Classic.

Oliver was in fourth after the first round, five strokes behind Statesboro's Grant Odom. But Oliver, who won earlier in the summer on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, climbed the leaderboard by playing his first nine holes of the second round in 2-under par before finishing with a score of Even-par 72.

Also in the Boys 14-15 age group, Benedictine sophomore Hamp Threlkeld and Benedictine freshman Jack Weeks finished T11 at 11 over par. Threlkeld carded scores of 79-76 while Weeks signed for 77-78.
