Port Wentworth's Hayden Price, a homeschooled member of the Class of 2026, was part of the victorious East side at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's SJGT Cup played October 18-19 at Country Club of Columbus in Columbus, Ga.
The East team, comprised of top performer in tournaments in 2025, won the team competition by a score of 38.5 to 31.5 over the West team, also made up of top tournament performers from 2025. Price's record during the event was 2-2-1, earning 2.5 points for the East side.
During the 2025 golf season, Price's finishes included five top 10 finishes in five events in the Girls 15-19 age group, inclduing a second place finsih at the SJGT Forest Heights Junior Classic at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga., in July.
