Prep Sports Report Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week: Scarlett Jackson, Calvary Day School

Calvary Day School senior Scarlett Jackson has returned to the flag football field, earning the Prep Sports Report Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week. After missing last season, Jackson has returned strong this year, showing her flag football skills through four games last week. She totaled 118 rushing yards on 13 carries, with one rushing touchdown and a rushing extra point. Scarlett also caught ten passes for 106 yards, including one touchdown and an extra point.

 

Jackson's ability to catch and run was evident as a punt returner. She had three punt returns totaling 71 yards and returned one for a touchdown.

 

Calvary Day School's head coach, Nick Grassi, praised Jackson's outstanding comeback. "After missing last season, she has been an unstoppable force in her comeback," Grassi said. Scarlett's impressive performance on November 9 is why she is a multi-threat flag football player and this week's Prep Sports Report Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week.
