The US Kids Golf Savannah Tour kicked off the Spring 2022 season at Forrest Heights Country Club in Statesboro on February 27, and the first event was highlighted by low scores in the Boys 13-14 and Girls 11-12 age groups.
In the Boys 13-14 age group, Chad Chadwell posted a 1-over par 73, the lowest score of the day in any age group, and in the Girls 11-12 Maya Lilja carded a 6-over par 78. After a bogey on the third hole, Chadwell played the next 10 holes 1-under par, including back to back birdies on Nos. 11 and 12.
