The US Kids Golf Savannah Tour completed its Fall 2023 season at the Tour Championship played on November 12 at The Club at Savannah Harbor.
In cold, wet and windy conditions, tournament and season champions were crowned. The results of the Tour Championship determined the season points winners for every age division.
In the Boys 6-Under age group, Beau Sapwell from Ludowici, Ga., finished with a 13-over 49 for his third win, and that win secured Tour Championship. Langston Beck from Richmond Hill, Ga., was second, only 10 points behind.
In Boys 7, Lou Kivett from Richmond Hill, Ga., carded a scored of 8-over par 44 for his fifth victory. He won the Tour Championship with 180 out of a possible 210 points during the 6-tournament season.
In Boys 8, Peyton Mills from Jacksonville, Fla, won for the fifth time with a socre of 3-over par 39. He also won the Tour Championship with 180 of out a possible 210 points.
In the Boys 9 age group, Tripp West from Richmond HIll turned in a score of 6-over par 42 to win the tournament and also claimed the Tour Championship with 180 points and three victories.
In the Boys 10 age group, Daxston Sheffield from Blackshear, Ga., won the season finale with a score of 10-over par 46. He also claimed the Tour Championship with six victories and 200 out of a possible 210 points.
In Boys 11, Zach Dao from Savannah posted a score of 9-over par 81 to win the championship tournament and also won the Tour Championship with 165 points. Dao won four times in five events, finsihing ahead of Eli Foxworth from Pembroke, Ga.
In Boys 12, Adler Saxton from Guyton, Ga., earned the win with a score of 15-over 87. The win was Saxton's third of the fall season and earned him the Tour Championship with 135 points.
In the Boys 13-14 age group, Savannah's Jack Weeks and Ryan George both braved the elements to post scores of 3-over par 75. Weeks, who made a 35-foot birdie putt on the final hole, was awarded the tournament victory through a scorecard playoff, but Noah Goldstein from Savannah won the Tour Championship over Weeks with 127.67 points. Although Weeks didn't win the points championship, he won every event he played and finished with a stroke average of 74.67 in three events.
In the Boys 15-18 age group, Braden Schnaible from Savannah's won the final tournament in scorecard playoff over Grant Odom from Statesboro after both players finished with scores of 4-over 76. But Odom's runner up finish was good enough to win the season points championship by three points over Schnaible.
In the Girls 8-under group, Madion Mills of Ponte Vedra, Fla, won the season championsihp with 120 points. In the Girls 9-10 age group, Georgia McDonald of Richmond Hill, Ga., 90 points.
In the Girls 11-12 age group, Savannah's Savannah Lane won with a score of 8-over 44 in an event shorted to nine holes by darkness. It was her fourth victory of the season, earning her the season points championship.
In the Girls 13-14 age division, Savannah's Maya Lilja finished a fantastic fall season with a score of 3-over par 75 that ended in near total darkness. Lilja won the points championship for the age group and finished with a scoring average of 76.7 in six events.
In the Girls 15-18 age group, Sydney Paradis from Brunswick, Ga., won both the final tournament and the points championship.
