Richmond Hill boys XCountry team wins Carrollton meet

Richmond Hill’s boys’ cross-country team finished first and senior Corey Adamski finished 5th in the Varsity Boys 5A, 6A & 7A division at the Carrollton Orthopaedic Invitational meet on September 12 in Carrollton.

Adamski finished in 17:39 out of 147 runners. Teammates Dylan Overbey (17:59) was 11th, Josh Mitchell (18:18) was 17th, Chester Gregg (18:29) was 24th, Noah Sybert (18:40) was 28th, Sterling Bastion (18:46) was 32nd and Memphis Rich (19:02) was 41st. The five best times added up to 85 points, 12 points fewer than runner up Hope High School. 

In the Varsity Girls 5A, 6A & 7A division, Richmond Hill’s Savannah Goode finished 8th with a time of 22:34, and the Wildcats varsity girls placed 10th out of 23 teams. 

In the Junior Varsity boys division, Richmond Hill recorded a 2nd placed finish, and junior Ravi Reed was second overall with a time of 18:14. Junior Brayden Greenwell (19:02) and sophomore Evan Wiebold (19:05) also placed in the top 15 in the Junior Varsity boys division.
