Richmond Hill's Conley, Savannah's Dollander in contention at Georgia Junior Championship

Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley carded a scoe of 2-under 70 in the first round of the Georgia Junior Championship being played at Valdosta Country Club in Valdosta, Ga., and was T2 after a first round that was deleyed more than three hours by thunderstorms. 

Savannah's Bear Dollander finished the first round with an Even-par 72 and was in the Top 10, and Savannah Chad Chadwell was in the Top 20 after a first-round score of 2-over 74. The morning wave of players in the first round on July 7 finished their first round, but the afternoon wave was called off the golf course due to thunderstorms more than once.
