Savannah Area Playoff Roundup: Savannah Teams Advance in GHSA Playoffs — Who’s Still Alive?

Savannah-area schools are moving onto the second and quarterfinals of the Georgia High School Association playoffs! Effingham County baseball is rolling into the next round, while Benedictine tennis and lacrosse are headed to the next rounds. Savannah Country Day, Calvary Day, Richmond Hill, and Bryan County all picked up big baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and tennis wins to keep their postseason hopes alive. 

 

From second-round matchups this week to teams already punching their ticket to the quarterfinals, here's a full breakdown of who's still playing and when!

BASEBALL

Tuesday, April 29

CLASS 5A – Effingham County 9, 11 | Winder-Barrow 4, 1 – Effingham advances to third round.
