Savannah juniors go low at Under Armour from Forest Heights Country Club

Savannah's Zach Dao, a 7th grader at St. James Catholic School, carded a score of 3-under par 33 for nine holes to win the Boys 12-14 age group at the The Junior Tour Powered by Under Armour Coastal Georgia League tournament played on September 15 at Forest Heights Country Club.

Dao only won by one stroke over Benedictine Military School freshman Finn Nixon, Statesboro's Bryson Lott and Liam Kendrick. In the Boys 12-14 age group, the top five finishers were all under par in the nine-hole event. 

in the Boys 15-18 age group, Cooper Riner from Stillmore, Ga., posted an impressive score of 5-under par 31, and in the Boys 6-8 age group Daniel Moran matched Riner with his own score of 5-under par 31. In the Boys 15-18 age group, runner up Layton Terwilliger and third place finisher Ehtan Fields also finished under par.
